With the introduction of true day/night cameras, CCTV cameras have become more versatile -- and now lenses need to match the wide range of light conditions covered by those cameras.

IR-corrected lenses provide fully corrected and sharply focused images in daylight and night conditions. Their special IR illuminators make them the best choice for day/night cameras.

The IR range comprises 1/3-inch and 1/2-inch format lenses. The 1/3-inch lenses are used exclusively for 1/3-inch type cameras. The high design standards of the 1/2-inch lenses make them a perfect match for both 1/3-inch and 1/2-inch type cameras. In the latter case, the lenses provide a more
"telephoto" effect.

Functions
For auto iris control, all lenses use the standard four-pin EIAJ connector, which fits directly into the camera's iris output. Varifocal lenses are DC iris direct drives, while zoom lenses have video iris drives. For zoom focus and pre-position control, the lenses are fitted with an eight-pin DIN connector.
The 18x zoom lens also features manual iris override.

For optimizing angular fields right on site, varifocal lenses are the most versatile and practical solution available. These lenses allow for setting virtually any angle of field, which maximizes surveillance effects. Installers do not need to carry several different focal length lenses – and installation is more efficient because they can find the right angles of field without moving
the camera set-up. If the field-of-view requirements change after installation, modification is simple by just altering the lens' focal length settings.

Functions
This series includes both manual and DC-iris varifocal lenses. They are compact, rugged, and available in 1/3-inch and 1/2- inch image formats. The series is organized by sensitivity, optical resolution, and range to match the wide range of Dinion camera applications.

These varifocal lenses come with a standard C or CS mount for use with a variety of cameras. The DC-iris control connection is a four-pin standard plug that fits directly into the camera's iris output. And the lenses deliver impressive
optical quality due to their high standards for resolution, contrast reproduction, and coating.
